Pre-Preparatory School

For children aged 2-5 years

These early pre-preparatory school years are vital in a child’s development. We foster a love of learning through fun and varied activities. The statutory Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) has 7 areas of learning. Each area offers opportunities to explore, challenge, and experience through a wide variety of activities

The 7 areas of learning are:

  • Communication and language
  • Physical development
  • Personal, social, and emotional development
  • Literacy
  • Mathematics
  • Understanding the world
  • Expressive arts and design

We place great importance on ensuring that all of these areas are met for our EYFS students in our pre-preparatory school

For children aged 6 to 7 years

By the time the children reach Key Stage 1 (KS1) they have developed socially and emotionally into confident, enthusiastic, and happy members of the school community. They have reached an optimal standard in basic skills with a solid acquisition of language and an understanding of numbers and their relationships. They should also understand more about the world and people around them and have experimented creatively with a variety of media.
