Our annual and highly anticipated MKPS U10 Indoor Boys Football Tournament was attended by teams including Beachborough, Akeley Wood, Bedford Modern, Swanbourne House and Wellingborough. All schools had some excellent individual performances and some stand out teams emerged through the tournament. There were only two points between 3rd and 6th place – however MKPS and Beachborough stood out, winning all their games leading to the final.
MKPS started very strongly going 4-0 up with counter-attacking football. Going into half time, Beachborough got a goal back just before the break. Coming into the second half Beachborough scored two quick goals resulting in a tight last 5 minutes. Both teams had chances to score in the final few minutes but it was MKPS that held on to win the tournament! Well done boys – and thank you to all the schools for taking part.
