Across our School and Nursery today, the children were all involved in some way in commemorating Remembrance Day. The Nursery children created poppies in sand, paint and paper and the Year 2 children made poppies for their Remembrance Day display board. Outside, at 11am, the Years 3-6 children stood patiently and solemnly listening to the Head Girl and Head Boy reading First World War poems and following the Last Post, stood with heads respectfully bowed for the minute’s silence.
