Our remote learning visitor in Year 6 this week has been Mr Richard J Williams. Mr Williams travelled aboard the RMS Titanic, in first class, on her maiden voyage. Luckily for him, he managed to escape the icy waters after the ship’s dreadful sinking and spent some time explaining to the children what happened on board ship, what life was a like as a member of the privileged classes and took questions from his audience. The children were enthralled by his story and asked him a great deal about his experiences.
