The rain didn’t stop our Reception children having a lovely trip to Maulden Woods today. They began with a walk, exploring what they could see and hear in the woods. Then they enjoyed an outside story with their favourite character, the Gruffalo! Although they didn’t spot him today, the children had lots of fun discovering the different characters hidden around and brought back a selection of things collected from the woods, to create their own woodland crowns tomorrow.
