On 27th April, our U11 boys played in their first cricket fixture of the summer term. Our opposition was a very strong Bedford School side. Batting first, Bedford posted a competitive score of 100 from their 20 overs. Rushil returned figures of 3-14 from his 4 allotted overs. The run chase did not quite start as planned as we lost our first 3 wickets for just 26 runs.

However, the boys turned this around with some strong middle order batting, some brave running between the wickets and ended up reaching the required 101 with only 3 balls remaining, eventually winning the game by 3 wickets! Finlay was the top scoring player with 32. An excellent all round team performance and a fantastic start to the cricket season.
