Over in Design & Technology today, some of our Year 5 children were tasked with a teamwork memory challenge – how to build a structure using dowels and elastic bands – something they learned over 3 years ago.

The challenge set today was to see who could build the tallest structure strong enough to hold a hockey ball. The children had great fun working together in teams to see who could build the strongest and highest – so far, 1.56 metres!
