It’s been a busy sporting week! Our Year 6 boys took part in the Bedford Sixes Cricket Tournament at Bedford School. This is the second year of MKPS were invited to participate and the second year we made it to the final! Our team performed brilliantly throughout the day, losing narrowly in the final off the last ball of the game. Consistent performance with the bat kept us scoring in all the games, while accurate bowling meant we were always attacking for wickets.

Then we took a mixed Year 6 football team to compete in a tournament with 16 other local schools, hosted by MK Dons. Playing on the main Stadium MK pitch in the glorious May sunshine was a thrilling experience for our children, who narrowly missed a place in the final. After the tournament the children were given a behind the scenes tour of the stadium.
