UKMT Junior Maths Challenge

A selected group of our Year 5 and Year 6 children recently took part in the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge — a competition typically taken by Year 7 and Year 8 students in secondary schools. Despite being younger than the usual age group for this challenge, our children performed brilliantly and we are proud to share that 12 of them achieved either Bronze or Silver awards (first photo). Additionally, our Years 5 & 6 and some Year 4 children recently took part in the UKMT Primary Kangaroo Challenge, and we’re delighted to celebrate some excellent results. Pictured in the second photo are our top performers in each year group! A huge well done to everyone who took part for their hard work, determination and enthusiasm for mathematics, and special congratulations to our award winners on this amazing achievement.
