What the fee information covers

The 2026-2027 fee information includes annual, termly and monthly fees where applicable, alongside relevant details about funding, discounts, payment arrangements, additional charges and notice periods.

Details vary by department and age group, so please download the fee information that applies to your child.

Nursery fees and funding

Nursery fee information is provided separately for children under 2 years and children aged 2 years.

Information about 15 and 30 hours funded childcare is included where applicable. Funding is subject to eligibility and other conditions, and full fees remain payable for any unfunded weeks provided during the year.

Nursery fees include 45.4 weeks of care as standard. For children under 2, parents are asked to provide nappies, food and bottles until their child is able to eat nursery food.

Pre-Preparatory fees

Pre-Preparatory fee information is provided for children aged 3-4 years, Reception, and Years 1-2.

For children aged 3-4 years, information is available about 15 and 30 hours funded childcare. Funded places are subject to eligibility, attendance requirements and other conditions.

Depending on their date of birth, children in Reception may also be eligible for 15 or 30 hours of Government funding. The amount of funding received can affect the fees and VAT payable on tuition.

Fee information for Years 1-2 includes all-year and term-time-only options, alongside details of After-School Care, Early Room, Late Room and Playscheme.

Preparatory fees

The Preparatory Department fee information covers Years 3-6, for children aged 8 to 11 years.

All-year and term-time-only fee options are available. Holiday care, known as Playscheme, is included with all-year fees and is also available to book separately for term-time-only children, subject to availability.

Scholarships and bursaries

Scholarships and bursaries are subject to eligibility.

Scholarships may be available for children in Year 3 or above, while bursaries may be available for children in Year 1 or above. Any award applies to the tuition element of the fees.

Notice periods

Notice periods vary by department.

For children in the Nursery Department up to the age of 2, one full month’s written notice must be given to the Headmaster. If the required notice is not provided, one month’s fees will be payable in lieu of notice.

For children in the Pre-Preparatory and Preparatory Departments, one complete term’s written notice must be given to the Headmaster. Notice must be received before or on the first day of term and expires at the end of that term.

Which MKPS fee information should I download?

MKPS accepts Childcare Vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare for qualifying activities. Please speak to the school for more information about how these payment methods can be used.

Are sibling discounts available?

Yes. Sibling discounts are available, although the level and conditions vary by department and family circumstances. Full details are included in the relevant fee information.

Are scholarships and bursaries available?

Scholarships may be available for eligible children in Year 3 or above, while bursaries may be available for eligible children in Year 1 or above. Please contact the Bursar for further information.

How can fees be paid?

Fees can be paid in advance by monthly direct debit, termly on the first day of each term, or annually by 1st September.
