Our Reception children had a fantastic time at Herrings Green Farm as part of an introduction to their wildlife topic! This term, the children are exploring animals from ‘The Gruffalo’ story, with a focus on mammals, birds, and reptiles. During their visit, they met a variety of birds and even had the chance to fly owls. They bravely held a snake and fed some of the other farm animals they encountered. With beautiful weather and so much to see and do, the children thoroughly enjoyed learning about different animals and their habitats.
