Milton Keynes Preparatory Schools comprises of Milton Keynes Preparatory School, Broughton Manor Preparatory School and Walton Pre-Preparatory School and Nursery.   • Situated on the south west side of Milton Keynes city
  • Off the A421 Bedford to Buckingham road
  • 3.8 miles, 11 minutes from Central Milton Keynes railway station

Facilities

A purpose built school and nursery which has existed on its current site since 1987 and caters for all ages of children in one building. Excellent facilities include dedicated ICT suites with state of the art equipment, large indoor and outdoor sports areas.

Teaching and Learning

Specialist teaching in key subject areas for children from 3 years of age. Opportunities for outside learning include an off-site Farm Environmental Studies Centre.

Nursery Care

Qualified and experienced staff. A safe and nurturing environment for babies and young children. EYFS standards are followed for each individual child. A stimulating, social nursery experience for young children.

Attendance

The school and nursery are open for 46 weeks a year. An extended day of 8.00am to 6.00pm is offered for children of all ages. An early and late facility exists for a 7.30am start and 6.30pm finish.
Children under 2½ years in the nursery department attend for 46 weeks a year. A term time only option is available for children over 2½ years of age. A holiday playscheme runs giving a maximum attendance of 46 weeks per annum.

Successes

Academic results are impressive with a high number of pupils gaining entry to the senior school of their choice.

  • Situated on the east side of Milton Keynes city
  • On the A5130, 2 minutes from junction 14 of the M1 motorway
  • 4.5 miles, 12 minutes from Central Milton Keynes train station.

Facilities

A purpose built school and nursery which moved into new premises in 2005 and caters for all ages of children at one location. Excellent facilities include dedicated ICT suites, large indoor sports facilities. The school recently expanded with the completion of the Orchard Building, comprising 4 classrooms, music studio, library and ICT suite.

Walton Pre-Preparatory School and NurseryWalton Pre-Preparatory School

  • Situated on the south east side of Milton Keynes city, close to the Open University.
  • 4.6 miles, 14 minutes from Central Milton Keynes train station.

Facilities

Situated in The Old Rectory, a Grade II listed building, with beautiful grounds and woodland area. Facilities include a music studio and purpose built classrooms in the grounds.

Teaching and Learning

Opportunities for outside learning include beautiful gardens and a woodland area with a nature trail. Older children also travel off-site to our Farm Environmental Studies Centre nearby. Children may transfer to Milton Keynes Preparatory School or Broughton Manor Preparatory School at age 5, subject to availability.
